To improve security the version 1.2.3 has incompatible changes to previous versions using Postgres/MySQL/MariaDB databases.
The database password is now encryted and no longer readable by a user in the library settings file. The “password” value got removed and instead you will now find a value called: “passphrase”
This new changed library settings file (.lib) will no longer be usable in older versions. It won’t be able to connect to the database.
There are no changes to the database itself only in the library settings file. It’s a good idea to make a copy of the current .lib files.
